Elder Ballard urges LDS members to share their Faith

This morning as I was reading the Deseret Morning News I came across an article written by Leigh Dethman titled, "Share faith, Elder Ballard urges LDS." I was particulary interested in this article because of the recent news coverage of our religion correct and incorrect. In the article they quoted him from a devotional he gave to graduates at BYU-Hawaii.

He said, '"There are conversations going on about the church constantly. Those conversations will continue whether or not we choose to participate in them. But we cannot sit on the sidelines while others, including our critis, attempt to define what the church teaches."' He suggest we start a blog and share what we know to be true or comment on news media sites that report on the church and voice your views. He said "there is no need to argue or contend but don't be afraid to share you story as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ."

So I am starting this blog so we can share our thoughts and quotes from prophets to ourselves and others who may not be familiar with our religion and its teachings.
